During the recent autumn workshops at Zagroda Białęgi, we used a pumpkin from our farm. During the first workshops, we created natural vases, and later our White Witch shared with you the secrets of pickling it.

We are a biodynamic farm, which means we look at cultivation more broadly than just through the lens of yields. We care for soil fertility, biodiversity, and the natural relationships between plants, animals, and the surroundings. This approach originates from Rudolf Steiner’s concepts and means that the farm operates in accordance with the laws of nature, with care for the entire ecosystem.

Thanks to this, the pumpkin that made its way to our workshops is also part of, and an example of, how we operate every day at the farm—not just an autumn symbol. *Our activities are confirmed by the Demeter certificate, the highest distinction for biodynamic farms.
